In a residential area in Bytom, vitrified clay-sewage lines ID600mm by the company Sobet S.A., are being installed. A big challenge for the job-site team was the continuously changing geology: Hard limestone and clay followed by sand with big boulders.Regarding the job-site location amidst a strongly populated residential area, it was once more our aim to keep the disturbance for people and environment to a minimum. Therefore, several shorter drives were combinded to one large drive.
The longest driving length was of 186m, the second longest of 123m.
Due to the difficult surrounding conditions, the company Sobet decided to use an mts1000M system manufactured by mts Perforator in Germany.With a strong 132kW hydraulic aggregate, the so far longest drive in Poland of 186m with DN600 could be carried out successfully despite the tough conditions.
The Steering Head was equipped with a Mixed ground Cutting Disc that shows satisfying results in all kinds of grounds.
